We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. That includes password protected systems, encrypted connections, access limited to the people who need it, and reputable providers for hosting and storage.
If a privacy breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the affected people and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner as required by Part 6 of the Privacy Act 2020.
We keep job records, certificates and invoices for at least seven years, to meet our tax and electrical compliance obligations. Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept only as long as they are useful, and then deleted. We do not keep personal information for longer than we need it.
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it if it is wrong. There is no charge for a reasonable request, and we will respond within 20 working days.

If we send you marketing emails, every message will include a way to unsubscribe, and we will action it promptly. This is consistent with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007. We may still contact you about a job you have booked, an invoice, or a safety matter.
Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it.
